Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (MAC Float PRN) to support multiple outpatient clinics within the Moffitt Ambulatory Center. You will assist with exams and procedures, help organize patient flow, and adapt to staffing needs across units.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and completion of a Medical Assistant training program; CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA certification within one year from transfer is preferred. BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Medical Assistant training program or equivalent
• Certification from CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA within one year if transferring from another unit
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
