Job summary

Providence Swedish in the Puget Sound region seeks a Medical Assistant/MA-C to support administrative and clinical tasks in Primary Care clinics. You’ll schedule appointments, update patient information in EPIC, and take vital signs under supervision, contributing to a collaborative, patient‑centered care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school with hands-on medical assisting training.
• Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program.
• Completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces.
• Minimum one year of MA experience including vital signs, injections, and medications.
• Washington MA Certification upon hire.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
• 6 months of healthcare experience
• 6 months of MA experience

Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduling appointments and update patient information in EPIC.
• Take vital signs and perform basic clinical duties under supervision.
• Work under delegation of a licensed practitioner following established policies and procedures.
