Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants.
• Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program or
• Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces or
• Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes vital signs, injections, and medication administration
• Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
• 6 months of Healthcare experience
• 6 months of Medical Assistant experience

Responsibilities

• Assist with administrative tasks: scheduling appointments and updating patient information in EPIC.
• Take patients' vital signs during visits and assist clinicians.
• Support clinical duties under licensed practitioner delegation.
