Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a Medical Assistant – Certified (MA-C) to support providers in delivering high-quality, patient-centered primary care. The MA-C will handle patient intake, clinical documentation, and assist with exams and procedures to ensure smooth flow and excellent care.

Starting wage is $24.09 per hour. Work Monday–Friday with full benefits including medical, dental, vision, and more.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved MA program.
• Current MA-C license (or MA-Interim with certification within 90 days).
• BLS/CPR required (or within 90 days).
• Ambulatory care experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
• May require travel to other clinic locations.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain histories and vital signs
• Track and document clinical quality measures in the EHR
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and charting
• Administer medications and immunizations per protocol
• Coordinate labs, referrals, and specialty care
• Provide excellent customer service using the AIDET model

Skills
