Position: Certified Medical Assistant MA

Schedule: Full Time

Shift: Monday 7am-5pm, Tuesday off, Wednesday 7am-5pm, Thursday 8am-5pm, alternating Fridays 8am-4pm, and Saturday 8am-12pm when scheduled.

Role Overview:

Assist with patient examinations and treatments under the supervision of a provider (Physician or Advanced Practice Provider).

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with treatments ordered by the provider, perform select clinical duties, and support patient care.
• Interview patients, measure vital signs, record information, and prepare treatment rooms.
• Perform clerical duties such as answering phones, maintaining records, and filing.
• Manage supplies, maintain cleanliness, and ensure an organized environment.
• Document provider-patient encounters, list diagnoses and symptoms, and transcribe orders including laboratory tests, radiology, and medications.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credentialed by AAMA or equivalent (AMT, NCCT, NHA, ARMA)
