Novant Health Huntersville Pediatrics & Internal Medicine is seeking a Full-time Certified Medical Assistant to support providers and coordinate patient care in a fast-paced practice setting.

The CMA will assist with intake, vital signs, documentation, and clinical procedures, while maintaining records and ensuring compliance with policies. Prior medical office experience and current CMA/CCMA/RMA certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months) are preferred.

Qualificações

• High School or GED required.
• Current CMA/CCMA/RMA certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• State Driver's License required for Palliative Care only.
• Previous work in a medical office preferred.
• Ability to pass skills validation and competency testing.

Novant Health Huntersville Pediatrics & Internal Medicine is hiring for a Full- Time Certified Medical Assistant. The CMA is to coordinate and assist the provider to ensure safe quality/cost effective service and care for the people within the practice population.

What We're Looking For

Education: High School or GED, required. Candidates will provide proof of current certification from one of the approved certifying registries including:

• CMA with the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
• CCMA with the National Health Career Association (NHA)
• RMA with the American Medical Technologists (AMT)
• American Registry of Medical Assistants (NHCWA)
• National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
• National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP)
• American Allied Health (AAH) RMA with the American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)

Experience: Previous work in a medical office, preferred.

Licensure/Certification:

Current certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire as CMA, RMA or CCMA, required

Current State Drivers License (Palliative Care Only), required

Additional Skills/Requirements (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific skills validation and competency testing.
