Qualifications

• High school diploma with two years of experience and one of the following: AAMA, CCMA, MedCa, NCMA, RMA.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, detail-oriented, excellent interpersonal and written communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support to physicians, NPs, PAs or other providers.
• Triage patients, take vital signs, document interviews and prepare patients for exams/procedures.
• Process lab requests including venipuncture and routine screening tests; perform EKGs and nebulizer treatments as ordered.
• Assist with administration of medications and document times/amounts in patient records.
• Enter clinical data into the EMR and maintain accurate documentation in patient records.
• Assist with phones, scheduling appointments, and other clerical duties.
