Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant III Mac Float to support patient care in the MAC. The role includes assisting with exams and procedures, managing patient flow, and providing guidance to other Medical Assistants as a mentor within the department.

Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma/GED and a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) credential; CMA-RMA-CCMA credentials are among acceptable licensure options.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of a Medical Assistant training program or applicable military medical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with exams and procedures and support patient flow in the clinic.
• Organize patient flow and coordinate activities within the MAC (Moffitt Ambulatory Center).
• Serve as a mentor and role model for other Medical Assistants in and outside the department.
