Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant Float for PRN shifts. The role supports exams and procedures, helps organize patient flow, and rotates across MAC units to meet staffing needs.

Travel to various Moffitt campuses is required as needed, ensuring continuity of patient care in outpatient settings. A Medical Assistant training program completion or equivalent military training is expected, with BLS certification either current or obtained within a year.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a Medical Assistant training program or applicable military medical training.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant from CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, NRCMA preferred.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required or obtained within one year of transfer.

Responsibilities

• Assist with exams and procedures and manage patient flow.
• Support multiple MAC units by rotating to assigned outpatient clinics.
• Travel to Moffitt Cancer Center campuses as needed to ensure patient care is provided.
