Job summary

This role offers a consistent weekday schedule, day shifts, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on patient care while working with a collaborative clinical team. Certification and an associate degree are required.

Qualifications

• Previous work experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Certification by an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Associate degree in Medical Assisting from an accredited school.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• As a Medical Assistant II on our Primary Care team, you’ll help keep visits running smoothly and support both patients and providers.
• Assists with collecting statistics and prepares patient for visit and medical staff.
• Prepare patients for visits and assist providers during examinations.
• Assists with basic diagnostic procedures and performs specimen collection as required.
• Documents patient care given and performs duties such as filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
• Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
• Maintains examination areas and communicates observed changes in patient condition to medical staff.
