Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant II for our Family Practice at 763 E Hwy 80 Suite 240, Forney, TX 75126. This is a full-time, weekday role (Mon-Fri, 8a-5p) designed to support physicians with examinations, record updates, injections, vaccinations and rooming.

You will also handle scheduling, staff training, chart documentation, and patient interviews while fostering teamwork and a positive learning atmosphere in a busy clinic.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years professional experience preferred.
• BLS certification within 30 days of joining required.
• Must hold CMA credential from NCCT, AAMA, NHA, AMT, AMCA, NAHP, NRCMA or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist during patient examinations and treatments under physician guidance.
• Perform manual blood pressures and administer injections and vaccinations.
• Conduct EKGs and POCT testing.
• Document medical history and vital signs; room patients for examinations.
• Manage administrative tasks including scheduling and staff training.
• Promote teamwork and mentor staff in a fast-paced family practice environment.
