Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant II Mac Float to join the MAC team. This role supports exams and procedures, helps manage patient flow, and adapts to staffing needs across units within the Mac ambulatory center.

A high school diploma or GED and completion of a Medical Assistant training program are required. Licensure is required (BLS) with CMA/RMA/CCMA/NHA/NCRA certifications acceptable.

Summary Medical Assistants are essential members of the clinic team. They contribute to the healthcare of patients by assisting with exams and procedures, organizing and managing patient flow, and taking on other responsibilities based on the needs of the department. Incumbent will be utilized in different units within the MAC (Moffitt Ambulatory Center) to ensure quality patient care and appropriate staffing needs are met.

Training Required:

Salary Range $22.74 - $34.68 Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role.
