Vanguard Medical Group in Farmingdale, NJ is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant II to support providers and clinical operations, delivering efficient, patient-centered care. You will perform routine CMA duties, assist with in-office testing, injections, and chart prep, while maintaining EMR documentation and care coordination.

The role emphasizes independence, teamwork, and the ability to recognize urgent needs and escalate when required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a medical office or ambulatory setting.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program with CMA/RMA/CCMA preferred.
• Proficient in EMR documentation and patient care workflows.

Responsabilités

• Prepare exam rooms and assist during exams, procedures, and treatments.
• Take vital signs, medical history, and medications reconciliation.
• Administer medications and injections per provider direction and document in EMR.
• Perform in-office testing (EKG, urine dips, strep) and assist with phlebotomy as needed.
• Support chart preparation, care gaps, and health maintenance items for visits.
• Collaborate with care team to enhance patient workflows and experiences.
• Uphold HIPAA compliance and maintain accurate documentation.
