Job summary

UAB Medicine in Birmingham, AL is seeking a CMA or CCMA certified professional to perform clinical procedures and assist the healthcare team in patient care. A CPR certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment.

Shifts are full-time days with a pay range of $15.50-$23.55 per hour. Responsibilities include preparing patients for treatment or research protocols, assisting physicians, and performing simple non-invasive procedures.

Qualifications

• Perform clinical procedures to prepare patients or research participants for treatment or protocol.
• Assist physician or other healthcare team members with completion of treatment/protocol.
• May perform clerical and/or lab duties as requested.
• Responds to needs of patients from newborn to geriatric.
