Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; MA program preferred.
• Successful completion of Medical Assistant Certification Exam (CMA/RMA/NRCMA/NCMA/RCMAS/CCMA).
• Current MA certification must be maintained; CPR certification required and recertified every two years.
• If bilingual, must pass the JHM language assessment within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and immunizations under supervision.
• Obtains vitals and maintains accurate patient records.
• Maintains inventory and ensures safe patient flow and transitions of care.
• Tracks high-risk referrals and ordered labs; supports quality measures.
