Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our Primary Care team in Zephyrhills, FL. In this ambulatory setting, you will perform patient care under physician or APP supervision and support data collection, examinations, and patient education.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma with CMA training or equivalent experience and maintains current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Successful completion of Medical Assistant training from an approved technical school or at least one year of CMA work experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians/APPs during examinations and procedures.
• Gather patient data through interviews and observation.
• Document patient data and treatments accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Support scheduling and care coordination for specialty tests and consultations.
• Provide routine treatments and administer approved medications per protocol.
