Vitruvian Health in Dalton, GA is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and advanced practitioners. You’ll prepare patients for exams, take vitals, and assist with procedures under supervision.

You will also manage patient communications, prescription refills, referrals, and prior authorizations, while keeping clinical areas clean and organized. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program; national certification may be required.
• 1–2 years’ clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with examination and treatment under physician supervision.
• Prepare patients and rooms for exams; assist with procedures.
• Handle patient phone calls, prescription refills, referrals and prior authorizations.
• Document vitals and patient information in charts.
• Support business operations, medical records, scheduling and clerical tasks.
