Job summary

BAART Programs is seeking a certified Medical Assistant to greet patients, schedule appointments and collect personal information. The role supports practitioners with treatment and collects lab samples.

The ideal candidate will have phlebotomy experience, CPR/BCLS certification, and 1–2 years of healthcare experience; strong interpersonal skills are essential for working with the Substance Use Disorder population.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1–2 years healthcare experience preferred.
• Medical Assistant certification/registration required.
• Phlebotomy experience required.
• CPR/BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and schedule appointments and collect information.
• Take vital signs and assist practitioners with patient care.
• Obtain blood and other lab specimens for testing.
• Prepare examination rooms and maintain cleanliness.
• Assist with receptionist duties and manage records.
• Triages calls and manages messages.
