Job Overview

Join our dynamic team at Novant Health's Surgery Center as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA). In this role, you will provide direct nursing care in a fast-paced medical office environment, collaborating closely with physicians and healthcare providers. Your responsibilities include ensuring patient comfort and safety, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and supporting clinical procedures.

Key Responsibilities

1. Patient Assessment: Assist in evaluating patient needs and contribute to individualized health plans.
2. Documentation: Accurately complete all required documentation in the patient’s medical record, adhering to practice’s charting policies.
3. Clinical Support: Prepare medical equipment and assist physicians during exams, treatments, and procedures.
4. Care Coordination: Schedule specialized consultations and coordinate diagnostic testing appointments as directed by physicians.
5. Patient Education: Provide patients with information regarding their care and address questions and concerns.

Qualifications
