Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking Medical Assistants for the Float Pool to provide coverage across the region, traveling as needed to keep care close to home. You will monitor schedules, prepare patients, take vital signs, and assist clinicians with exams and procedures, while ensuring documentation quality and patient safety.

Responsibilities include administering medications, leading front-line staff, and coordinating clinic operations to meet regulatory and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related work experience required.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• Medical Assistant Certification from approved organizations required.

• Serves as the point of contact for daily clinic operations, assessing and resolving issues or escalating them as needed.

Job Description:

MA's in the Float Pool will travel for coverage across the region as needed (we do try to keep you as close to home as possible!)

Float Pool Incentives:

• $5,000 sign on bonus for new hires!
• $1.50 per hour differential, paid on top of your base rate for every hour worked
• Mileage Reimbursement over 22 miles each day @ .76 cents per mile
