Job summary

Rocking Horse Community Health Center in London, Ohio, seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to support the Family Practice team at our Madison location. The CMA assists clinicians, takes vitals, performs blood draws, and administers vaccines as required.

Candidates should have Ohio certification through NHA or AAMA and 1–3 years of healthcare experience. We offer a generous benefits package including Medical, Dental & Vision, Company Paid Life, LTD, and up to 4 weeks of PTO with 10 paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have Ohio certification through NHA or AAMA.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience with an Electronic Health Record program is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist medical and nursing staff in examinations and treatments.
• Take patient vitals and perform venipuncture for blood draws.
• Administer immunizations and injections; complete medication refills as needed.
• Provide patient education assistance and ensure accurate charting.
