Zusammenfassung

Jane Pauley Community Health Center in Indiana is seeking a dedicated Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) to support both patients and providers, ensuring high-quality, efficient, and compassionate care in a busy ambulatory setting.

You will prepare exam rooms, assist with procedures, perform injections and EKGs, manage documentation in the EHR, and coordinate referrals while upholding CLIA and OSHA standards in daily practice.

Qualifikationen

• Certified (CMA) or Registered (RMA) Medical Assistant
• Graduate of an ABHES or CAAHEP Medical Assistant program
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• American Heart Association BLS certification required
• Knowledge of standard clinical, lab, and medical procedures
• Computer literacy and accurate data entry skills required
• Familiarity with VFC, CHIRP, and VOMS systems strongly preferred
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in an ambulatory care setting preferred

Aufgaben

• Prepare and stock exam rooms to ensure readiness for patient care
• Room patients, check vital signs, and communicate with providers
• Assist providers with procedures and patient care as needed
• Administer injections, perform EKGs, and coordinate referrals
• Triage patient phone calls, review test results, manage pharmacy calls, and review medications
• Complete patient documentation accurately in the EHR
• Perform point-of-care lab testing and prepare specimens
• Maintain compliance with CLIA standards
• Communicate with patients, families, coworkers, and external partners
• Ensure adherence to OSHA, CLIA, ADA, and VFC program requirements
