Job summary

Aria Community Health Center is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support physicians in a busy primary care clinic in Lemoore, CA. The CMA will manage patient intake, vital signs, and documentation, including scribing when needed, while assisting with exams and procedures.

The ideal candidate has CMA certification in California, a willingness to learn NextGen, and good English communication. Spanish bilingualism is preferred. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• CMA credential in California required; BLS certification preferred.
• 1–2 years experience preferred.
• Experience with NextGen software and medical coding training preferred but not required.
• Bilingual Spanish and English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and area for procedures.
• Obtains vital signs (pulse, respiration, blood pressure, temperature).
• Transcribes history/physical and documents encounter details as a scribe when needed.
• Transcribes orders for labs and radiology; documents procedures.
• Maintains patient charts and enters information in the computer system.
• Open exam rooms and ensure supplies and equipment readiness.
• Support providers to enhance clinic flow and patient care.
