Job summary

MultiCare Health System is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for a day shift at Yakima Memorial Hospital in Yakima, WA. The CMA will engage with patients while working closely with the clinical team to deliver excellent patient care and service.

The position requires WA MA-C certification, current BLS, and prior experience in a physician's office or medical facility. The role supports front-office duties and a collaborative care model within the MultiCare network.

Qualifications

• Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)
• Current BLS Certification
• One (1) year of experience in physician's office or other medical facility preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform safe clinical skills within the CMA scope of practice, including clinical duties in ambulatory patients
• Work under the direction of a licensed health care practitioner as part of the team
• Utilize knowledge towards integration of available standards, resources, and data
• Assist with front office duties, applying discretion, good judgment and diplomacy for quality office and patient care management
