Job summary

Kootenai Clinic, part of Kootenai Health in Coeur d'Alene, seeks a Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. You will perform vitals, injections, basic triage, and assist in minor procedures.

Responsibilities include patient interviewing, charting, blood draws, room preparation, and adherence to clinical protocols. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• CMA certification or LPN license required.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification required within orientation or 60 days of hire.
• Strong ability to document vitals and patient information accurately.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients and records vital signs and weights.
• Takes injections and assists with minor procedures.
• Draws blood samples and prepares specimens for lab analysis when needed.
• Prepares treatment rooms for examinations.
• Maintains patient charts and documents clinical data.
• Reports to supervisor or manager and follows facility policies.
