Lexington Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) to join the patient care team at Batesburg-Leesville. The CMA will provide direct and indirect patient care under a Provider, assist with intake, documentation, vaccine administration, and perform clerical tasks.

They will assist with scheduling and maintain medical records in the EPIC EHR system, and may serve as a provider’s scribe as needed.

Formación

• Must have an accredited CMA program with clinical components (anatomy/physiology, medical terminology, pharmacology, and clinical experience).
• State-approved Health Sciences Health Education Program or equivalent.
• May be military medical training or DoL CMA apprenticeship.
• Program must align to a nationally accredited certification exam.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in patient care activities and assist with clerical tasks.
• Record patient data and observations in the chart.
• Enter information into Epic and ensure chart accuracy.
• Assist in appointment scheduling and referrals when needed.
• Serve as a provider scribe as required.
