Trinity Health's Mercy Care Atlanta seeks a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to work under licensed providers, delivering patient care and supporting clinical operations. You will perform basic assessments, phlebotomy, EKGs, and assist with supplies, while participating in community outreach and ensuring HIPAA/CLIA compliance.

The role requires CMA and CPR certification, a high school diploma or medical tech training, and 6–12 months of health-related experience; GA driver’s license is

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; medical technical school preferred.
• CMA and CPR certification required.
• Six months to one year in a health-related field.
• Proficiency in phlebotomy and basic lab procedures.
• Knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA, and CLIA guidelines.
• Foreign language skills may be required.
• GA driver’s license with safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient assessment procedures, including vital signs.
• Assist with adult, geriatric, and occasionally pediatric patient care.
• Conduct phlebotomy and basic laboratory procedures.
• Interpret for clients and staff as applicable.
• Monitor and order medical supplies under supervision.
• Assist with EKG procedures and other clinical tasks.
• Participate in health fairs or community events (3-4 times a year).
