Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED. Maintains current MA credentials (certification/registration).
• Experience: 3-5 years previous clinical experience.
• Special Qualifications: Basic knowledge of medical terminology; basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and internet applications; EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in examination and treatment of patients by tracking patient information and documenting the medical record.
• Assist with in-office procedures and testing and administer medications.
• Provide patient and caregiver education.
• Perform duties under supervision of clinical staff and providers as outlined in the scope of practice.
