Job summary

MultiCare is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) to join a physician/APP office team. The MA-C provides safe clinical care under supervision, collaborates with physicians, nurses and front office staff, and maintains patient flow and quality care in daily practice.

Requirements include WA MA-C certification, at least one year of healthcare experience, and current BLS. The role is day-shift, 1.0 FTE, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a 24-month commitment; competitive benefits and growth

Qualifications

• Washington State MA-C certification required.
• Minimum of one year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient flow in collaboration with the front office staff.
• Interview patients and obtain vital signs.
• Assist patients in preparing for exams or treatments.
• Perform specimen collection, including venipuncture.
• Administer medications in compliance with WA DoH regulations and documented competency.
• Relay instructions to patients and families/caregivers.
• Send/receive patient medical records.
• Facilitate patient referrals and prepare forms.
