AdventHealth Pineville Clinic is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient intake, testing, and documentation in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will provide comprehensive patient care during office visits, including history taking, vitals, and medication reconciliation.

The role requires knowledge of medical terminology, patient advocacy, and strong teamwork. BLS and CMA/CMAC/RMA certifications are mandated, with on-site work in Pineville, KY.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of health care field and medical terminology is required.
• Knowledge of chronic disease management is required.
• Ability to navigate resources and advocate for patients is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical intake, including screenings, vital signs, and history taking.
• Document results in the clinic’s system and manage tests and labs.
• Assist with procedures and medication administration as needed.
