Job summary

Mercy Health is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for the Lima Medical Office Building. You will work closely with the primary care physician to deliver high-quality patient care and ensure documentation complies with state guidelines.

Responsibilities include chart review, vital signs, room preparation, and clerical support. Requires High School Diploma or GED and MA certification; BLS is preferred. Join a compassionate team and contribute to community health in Lima.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Active Medical Assisting certification (CMA/RMA/CCMA/NHA etc.) required or ABR-OE acceptable in some states.
• BLS/CPR certification preferred or required at hire depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide excellent customer service.
• Review and update patient charts with test results and referrals.
• Measure vital signs and prepare treatment rooms for examinations.
• Perform clerical duties: inventory, referrals tracking, phone coverage.
• Troubleshoot problems and support department operations.
