Qualifications

• Experience: Medical Assistant or similar 1–3 years.
• Licenses: HEARTSAVER - American Heart Association; NCCT Medical Assistant.
• Preferred: Certified Medical Assistant certifications.

Responsibilities

• Proactively assists patients throughout visits as needed.
• Respond to patient needs in a professional and friendly manner.
• Schedule appointments, lab callbacks, prior authorizations, and record medical histories.
• Collects and records vital signs and presenting conditions.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain infection control; assist with procedures.
• Perform EKGs, wound care, and injections as directed by physician.
