Join Texas Health Resources as a Certified Medical Assistant/CMA at the Surgical Specialists Clinic. This full-time, day-shift position offers an opportunity to provide exceptional patient care in a collaborative environment.

Position Details

• Location: 101 Crown Pointe Boulevard, Suite 360, Willow Park, TX 76087
• Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm, Friday 8:00am-3:00pm
• Travel: 25% weekly to satellite clinic at 909 S.E. Parkway, Suite 102, Azle, TX 76020 (mileage reimbursement provided)

Clinic Highlights

• Small practice with one surgeon, focused on quality patient care
• Supportive team with strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Located about 20 miles west of Downtown Fort Worth

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Current Medical Assistant Certification (CMA)
• Experience with Medical Insurance and Precertification (preferred)
• Ability to perform EKGs, draw blood, administer injections
• Basic computer skills and effective communication
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Ability to respond appropriately in emergencies

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care following established standards
• Obtain vital signs and medical history
• Draw blood, perform EKGs, prepare specimens
• Schedule and follow up on diagnostic tests
• Communicate test results and care plans
• Maintain sterile instruments and clean patient areas
• Ensure patient safety and privacy
• Assist in front office duties as needed
