Will also assist in the day-to-day operation of the office to ensure quality patient care. Clinical duties include patient assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• No prior work experience required
• Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant (by AAMA, AMT, NCCT, ARMA, AAH, or NHA)
• Six months experience preferred
• Must possess discipline to work by clinical standards
• Ability to understand and communicate medical records and orders
• Effective communication skills with patients, families, staff, and physicians
• Prior experience in oncology tests & labs is a plus
• BLS certification within 90 days
