Responsibilities

• Perform administrative and clinical duties under the supervision of a physician.
• Administrative duties include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding for insurance purposes.
• Clinical duties include rooming patients, recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examinations, drawing blood, and administering medications as directed by the physician.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Current licensure as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant

Preferred Job Requirements:

• 6 months’ medical clinic experience
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire
