Job description

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - 13-Week Contract | Chicago, IL | Up to $24 / Hour

We are currently hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for a 13-week contract in Chicago, IL . This is a full-time position offering 40 hours per week in a supportive clinical environment. If you're dependable, compassionate, and ready to hit the ground running, we'd love to hear from you!

• Location : Chicago, IL
• Schedule : Full-time, 40 hours / week
• Pay : Up to $24.00 / hour (based on experience)
• Bilingual in English / Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities :

• Room patients and take vital signs
• Assist providers with exams and minor procedures
• Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and basic lab tests as needed
• Administer medications and vaccinations under provider supervision
• Update and maintain electronic medical records (EMR)
• Ensure patient comfort and excellent customer service
• Support front desk as needed (scheduling, patient check-in / out)

Requirements :

• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) required
• 2+ year of recent experience in a clinical setting preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Bilingual in English / Spanish is highly desirable
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
