Gastroenterologists PC, (an affiliate of Unity Point Health), is adding new clinical positions.

We are looking for a full-time Certified Medical Assistant to join our growing GI office. We are adding two physicians and are searching for compassionate team members to join our Specialty Practice. We work closely with referral sources, insurance companies, and providers to deliver exceptional patient care.

Part-Time options are available with flexible schedules: Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs afternoons.

Responsibilities include:

• Patient education
• Calling patients with results
• Procedure scheduling
• Obtaining prior authorizations
• Assisting providers and patients during office visits
• Answering and triaging phone calls

Requirements:

• Iowa licensure, CMA certification, and BCLS certification required.

Office hours:

• Monday-Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
