Job summary

Tufts Medicine Westford Family Medicine seeks a dedicated Medical Assistant to support clinical operations in a fast-paced outpatient setting. You will prep patient rooms, obtain vitals, assist physicians, and help manage patient flow to ensure a smooth visit.

Responsibilities include documenting in EPIC, handling administrative tasks, and possibly administering immunizations. Strong customer service and bilingual abilities are a plus; full-time compensation and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant National Certification Attestation (AAMA/AMCA/AMT/NCCT/NHA) preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Prepare medical records and patient data for visits, confirming accuracy.
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures.
• Take and record vital signs; document patient information and pain level.
• Prepare exam rooms and ensure cleanliness, safety, and privacy.
• Support patient flow to maximize provider and room efficiency.
• Administer immunizations as needed and assist with specimen collection.
