Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support clinicians with patient care in our Waxahachie clinic. The role emphasizes accurate documentation, vital signs, injections, and preparing patients for exams and procedures.

Responsibilities include scribing, scheduling surgeries, specimen collection, and medication administration under physician guidance. Excellent patient communication and adherence to safety standards are essential.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• BLS certification or within 30 days of hire.
• CMA certification from accredited body (NCMA, CMA, CCMA, etc.).
• Strong documentation and patient-care skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with patient examinations and treatments under physician guidance.
• Scribe and schedule surgeries as needed.
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms before and after procedures and ensure supplies are stocked.
• Record vital signs (pulse, temp, BP, weight, height) and prepare patients for exams.
• Administer routine medications and vaccinations as directed; monitor for adverse reactions.
