Job summary

Social Clubhouse, Inc. is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant to support adults in recovery from mental health conditions. You will provide medical administrative support, coordinate clinical activities, and assist with medication management in a structured day program.

The role offers a full-time, in-person schedule (Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm) in Springfield, NJ with competitive pay and a supportive team focused on recovery and integrated care.

Qualifications

• Must have CMA Certification.
• 1+ year of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience handling medications and medical records.
• Ability to educate patients and families on health conditions and treatments.
• Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Program Psychiatrist during member appointments and schedule visits.
• Prepare member charts and ensure medication logs are up to date.
• Update and file medical records in charts.
• Help members independently fill medication pill packs.
• Gather insurance data and manage authorizations and communications.
• Prepare examination rooms and stock medical supplies.
• Assist in procedures and examinations as needed.
• Take vital signs and document readings.
• Support medication administration including injections.
