Job summary

Medlinkhealth Anesthesia Associates is seeking a compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join the Behavioral Health outpatient team. You will work under physicians and nursing staff to deliver clinical and administrative support, maintaining confidentiality and composure in stressful situations.

The role requires 2+ years of MA training, 3+ years clinical MA experience, and CMA/RMA/CCMA with BLS.

Qualifications

• Completion of at least 2 years in a formal Medical Assistant curriculum or specialized MA training program.
• Minimum 3+ years of demonstrated, relevant experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting.
• Active Medical Assistant Certification (CMA / RMA / CCMA).
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws (phlebotomy), administer injections/immunizations, collect lab specimens, and obtain vital signs.
• Assist patients getting to/from exam rooms, prep patients for examinations and procedures, and provide supportive care during clinical interactions.
• Handle and return patient phone calls as directed by physicians, relay provider instructions to patients, and assist with medical record documentation, lab slips, and referrals.
• Clean, sanitize, and restock exam rooms; requisition clinical supplies to maintain adequate operational stock.
• Operate with flexibility as a supportive member of the multidisciplinary clinical team.
