Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support the Allergy department. You will perform patient care under physician or APP direction in an ambulatory setting, traveling to Brandon, Carrollwood, and Wesley Chapel as needed.

Requirements include a high school diploma, completion of Medical Assistant training or one year CMA experience, and current BLS certification; multiple CMA certifications are acceptable.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of Medical Assistant training from an approved technical school (or at least one year of verifiable and applicable work experience as a Certified Medical Assistant in a patient care setting).
• Maintains current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification and CMA/CMAC/NCMA/NAHP/AMT/ARMA/etc. certifications.

• Gathers patient data through interviews and observation.
• Assists patients and families with preparation for examination.
• Assists the physician or APP during examination and procedures.
• Documents patient data, treatments, and education in the EMR.
