Allergy Partners is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join a patient-centered team at multiple Indiana locations, splitting time between Greenwood and Mooresville. The role includes clinical support, patient education, and administrative duties within an allergy practice.

You will assist physicians, perform allergy testing and spirometry, manage supplies, and ensure proper documentation in the EMR, while maintaining a high standard of patient care and teamwork.

Formación

• Minimum of one year of experience in a medical practice preferred.
• Understanding of OSHA guidelines for ambulatory practices.
• Understanding of medical record documentation standards.
• Understanding of medical coding based on medical notes to ensure accurate billing.
• Comfortable using email and interacting with internet applications.
• Knowledge of electronic medical records, practice management and word processing software.
• Good communication skills and interaction with physicians.
• Neat, professional appearance.

Responsabilidades

• Greets patient and escorts them from waiting area to exam rooms; prepares for exam.
• Provides assistance to physicians when requested.
• Performs allergy prick testing and/or intradermal testing as ordered.
• Performs Spirometry and other breathing tests as ordered.
• Maintains supplies and equipment for testing and treatment.
• Administers biologic injections as ordered by physician.
• Administers allergy injections per schedule and state regulations.
• Enter charges and document services in EMR per guidelines.
• Collaborates with patients, colleagues and interdisciplinary team.
