Job summary

Allergy Partners in Crestview Hills, KY seeks a Medical Assistant to join a patient-centered team. You will support clinicians, perform vital signs, document care in the EMR, and assist with allergy testing and injections in accordance with state regulations.

Key duties include coordinating patient flow, supporting front-end and back-end processes, and maintaining supplies. Prior clinic experience and ASHP-compliant documentation are valued; a CMA/RMA or ABR-OE is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in a medical practice.
• Understanding of OSHA guidelines for ambulatory practices.
• Understanding of medical record documentation standards.
• Knowledge of electronic medical records, practice management and word processing software.
• Good communication skills and interaction with physicians.
• Neat, professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Greets patient and escorts them to exam rooms; prepares patients for exam or treatment; takes vital signs.
• Provides assistance to physicians when requested.
• Performs allergy-prick testing and intradermal testing as ordered.
• Performs Spirometry and other breathing tests as ordered.
• Prepares and maintains supplies for testing and treatment.
• Administers allergy injections as ordered by physician and per state regulations.
• Maintains clinical supply stock and medication samples.
• Completes documentation in the EMR to reflect services provided.
