Job summary

Christopher's Reason, a licensed outpatient facility, is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant to join our medical team. You will support doctors and patients through administrative and clinical tasks, including vital signs, glucose monitoring, and basic lab tests, while maintaining accurate patient records.

Qualifications

• Certificate as Medical Assistant required.
• BLS certification (CPR and First Aid) required or in process.
• Proficient in measuring and recording vital signs.
• Experience with Substance Use Disorder care preferred.
• Maintain required certifications and continuing education.
• Observing patients take medications per protocols.
• Work well in a fast-paced community setting.
• Demonstrate reliability and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and comfort of clients and enforce company policies.
• Submit daily shift reports and brief the team on changes.
• Assist with medical administrative tasks: calls, scheduling, patient records.
• Take patient vital signs and glucose monitoring.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and blood draws.
• Prepare and assist healthcare providers during visits.
