Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federally funded healthcare programs (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid) regarding fraud, waste, and abuse. Report any concerns.
• Conduct all job aspects ethically, supporting the organization’s commitment to ethical behavior.
• Provide compassionate mental health care, take vital signs, administer injectable medications, facilitate prescription renewals, and provide health education.
• Perform other duties within scope and under supervision of the Director of Nursing.
• Maintain a positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to adapt to meet department goals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure comprehensive service.

Qualifications

Personal Specifications

Education: Medical Assistant Certification required.

Qualifications/Experience: Prior experience preferred but not required. Must have a valid Iowa Driver's License.
