Qualifications

• One year of medical assistant experience preferred but not required.
• Two years of clerical experience in a physician’s office preferred but not required.
• Active MA certification within 12 months of start date; ABR‑OE acceptable if MA cert not obtained.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service by greeting patients and the community respectfully.
• Prepares and reviews patient charts for upcoming visits, verifying diagnostics and records.
• Measures vital signs including pulse, respiration, blood pressure, weight, and height.
• Performs clerical duties such as inventory checks, stocking supplies, tracking referrals, and answering phones.
• Troubleshoots and resolves problems promptly.
• Other duties as assigned.
