Tenet Physician Resources is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide direct nursing support in a medical office setting under physician supervision. You will assist providers, maintain a safe environment, and support front desk operations in a fast-paced practice.

The role includes vital signs, injections, venipuncture, and CLIA-waived testing, with a $1,000 sign-on bonus. Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program or related experience is required, along with MA certification within

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program OR three years of relevant work experience in lieu of completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program.
• Medical Assistant certification required (will allow 90 days to obtain certification).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Adheres to and supports the mission, purpose, philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures of Tenet Physician Resources.
• Adheres to HIPAA Compliance Plan and Privacy Standards.
• Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and federal/state laws; reports issues promptly.
• Assists in patient needs assessment, taking vital signs, history, medication list, and chief complaint.
• Completes documentation in the patient’s medical record per charting policy.
• Prepares equipment and assists physicians with treatments and procedures.
• Administers prescribed medications and performs injections. Conducts venipunctures and CLIA-waived tests.
• Maintains clean, safe environment; stocks rooms and inventories supplies.
• Follows PPE requirements and infection control policies.
• Coordinates referrals and pre-certifications for tests/surgeries.
• Answers phones, assists front desk with scheduling, and directs calls.
• Assists in check-out and referral processing.
