Job summary

Tenet Physician Resources is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support physicians in daily office operations. You will help with patient care, exams, procedures, and teaching, while ensuring smooth patient flow. A sign-on bonus is offered for new hires.

The role requires a Medical Assistant diploma or completion of an accredited MA program, plus BLS and national certification within 90 days. This position emphasizes compassionate patient care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of accredited Medical Assisting Program or 3 years of relevant work experience in lieu of program.
• Current Medical Assistant Certification through NHA, AAMA, AMT, NCCT, ARMA, or HPRUS (90 days to obtain).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician with daily operations of the office.
• Maintain efficient patient flow and assist with patient care, exams, procedures, and education.
• Perform triage and monitor/record vitals for visiting patients.
• Perform EKG and Phlebotomy as applicable.
• Ensure medical documentation of office visits.
• Maintain friendly, courteous interactions with patients and staff.
