Job summary

Pine Haven Family Medicine PA in Randleman, NC is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team in a small private practice. You will support physicians with exams, document patient histories, and perform routine clinical procedures in a warm, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Current CMA certification required.
• Experience in family medicine, primary care, or outpatient setting preferred.
• Proficiency with EMR software and accurate record keeping.
• Strong phlebotomy and clinical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent bedside manner and patient-centered communication.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a busy team setting.
• CPR/BLS certification required or obtainable on hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and providers with patient examinations and clinical procedures.
• Record patient histories, vital signs, and chief complaints in the EMR.
• Administer injections, vaccinations, and perform routine tests (EKG, phlebotomy, urinalysis).
• Prepare and maintain clean, stocked exam rooms between visits.
• Manage prescription refills and prior authorizations under provider direction.
• Communicate test results, follow-up care, and appointment scheduling with patients.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and infection control protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians and providers with patient examinations and clinical procedures
• Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and chief complaints accurately in the EMR system
• Administer injections, vaccinations, and perform routine diagnostic tests (EKGs, phlebotomy, urinalysis)
• Prepare and maintain clean, stocked exam rooms between patient visits

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols

Requirements:

• Current CMA certification (AAMA, AMT, NHA, or equivalent) required

• Strong phlebotomy and clinical skills with attention to detail
• Excellent bedside manner and patient-centered communication skills
• Ability to multitask effectively in a busy, team-oriented environment
• CPR/BLS certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
